The 2024/2025 textbook vouchers will be handed out from August 1st

Vouchers for free textbooks for the 2024/2025 school year will start to be handed out from August 1, as classes are created.

The vouchers will be available on the following dates:

• For the 1st cycle and 9th grade from August 1
• For 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades from August 8th
• For the 10th, 11th and 12th grades, and other educational offers, from August 13th.

To benefit from free school books, parents must register on the MEGA platform or on the Edu Rede Escolar app (available for Android and iOS). You can find more information on the ePortugal portal page on Receiving vouchers for free textbooks.

A list of participating bookstores is available on the MEGA portal, where textbooks can be picked up.

Bookstores that want to be part of the MEGA - Free Textbooks program can also register on the platform and in the app.
